What builderG is

builderG is an informational tool. It produces a suggested materials list from what you tell it, suggests retail products that may suit those materials, estimates cost, and can draft a step-by-step build guide. It is a starting point for your own planning.

What builderG is not

builderG is not a substitute for professional advice. It is not a structural engineer, a surveyor, an architect, a qualified electrician or a Gas Safe engineer. It does not carry out structural calculations, it cannot see your site, and it does not know your local building regulations.

You are responsible for verifying the suitability, quantity and safety of every material before you purchase it or use it. Consult a qualified professional before starting work — particularly anything structural, electrical, gas, working at height, or subject to building regulations or planning approval.

Accuracy

builderG is always learning and can be wrong. Quantities may be over- or under-estimated, assumptions may not match your site, and a suggested product may not meet the required specification. Product prices and availability come from a periodic catalogue refresh and are not live. Always check the retailer’s own page before buying. Your account

You must be 16 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. You may use builderG as a guest without signing up; guest builds are limited and may be removed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use builderG for anything unlawful, or to plan work you know to be unsafe;
• upload content you do not have the right to share, or photos of people without their agreement;
• scrape, resell or systematically extract the product catalogue or generated content;
• attempt to disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, or access another user’s builds.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Plans and payment

builderG has a Free plan, a one-off Build Pass, and a Builder subscription billed monthly or yearly. What each includes is set out on the plans page. Payments are taken by our payment processor; we never see your card details. Prices include VAT where applicable.

• Build Pass — a credit that attaches to a single build the first time you use it there, and then covers that build for 30 days. An unused credit lasts 12 months from purchase. It cannot be moved once attached.
• Builder — renews automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your profile; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund part-periods.
• Free trial — where offered, a trial converts into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends. One trial per account.

Your right to cancel. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase. By starting to use a Build Pass or a subscription immediately, you ask us to begin the service within that period and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once it has been fully performed. Nothing here affects your legal rights if the service is faulty or not as described. If something has gone wrong, contact us — we would rather fix it than argue about it.

When a pass or subscription ends, everything you have already made — materials lists, products, costs, guides, visuals and PDFs — stays yours to view and download. What stops is generating new versions.

Your content and ours

You keep ownership of what you write and upload. You grant us the licence needed to run the service: to store your content, send it to our processors to generate output, and show it back to you. The materials lists, guides, costs and visuals builderG produces for you are yours to use for your own projects, commercial or otherwise. The service itself — the software, prompts, design and curated catalogue — remains ours.

Generated images are illustrations, not drawings to build from, and generated text may be similar to output produced for someone else describing a similar build.

Tradesperson listings

If you list your business you confirm that the details are accurate, that you hold the qualifications, certifications and insurance you claim, and that you are entitled to trade. Listings are public. We do not vet, endorse, recommend or guarantee any tradesperson, and any arrangement you make with one is between you and them. We may remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or the subject of credible complaints.

Retailer links

Product suggestions link to third-party retailers. We do not control their sites, pricing, stock or terms, and any purchase you make is between you and that retailer. Some products are sold by marketplace sellers rather than the retailer itself; delivery, returns and stock for those are the seller’s responsibility.

Availability and liability

builderG is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw features at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Terredyme Ltd is not liable for loss arising from your reliance on builderG’s output, including the cost of materials purchased, work carried out, or work that has to be redone. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and we will tell you directly if a change is significant. Continuing to use builderG after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
